How a Diverse Multicloud Ecosystem Can Lead to CSP Service Agility

A broad partner network and a full stack BSS/OSS delivered through the public cloud platform helps service providers quickly deliver and monetize new services.

Many telcos are turning to multicloud strategies to address the agility and cost needs of delivering market differentiating, on-demand services. As such, an increasing number are taking their first steps into the public cloud by placing parts of their workload capacity onto platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to assist them.

A new report by analyst firm GlobalData delves into Netcracker’s recent announcement on a strategic partnership with AWS. This involves deploying Netcracker’s full stack Digital BSS/OSS and Orchestration applications on AWS, allowing service providers, such as T-Mobile Netherlands, to quickly deliver and monetize new services throughout their lines of business.

In addition, Netcracker is teaming up with AWS to enable a centralized, catalog-driven e-commerce experience, which will give service providers access to a robust ecosystem of partner products and services that will allow them to create further market differentiation and promote greater agility of services throughout the network.

The public cloud is becoming a more viable option for the sensitive data and resiliency demands of service providers. Strong partnerships among the cloud platform providers, service providers and operators will help add more functions and grow the maturity of this deployment model.
