NetCracker appoints former head of OSS practice at Yankee to lead Strategy

Waltham, Mass. – January 18, 2006 – NetCracker Technology, the global Solution Leader enabling service providers to deliver and manage converged services, today announced that industry veteran Sanjay Mewada has joined the company to lead its global strategy and market initiatives.

Mewada spent the past 10 years at the Yankee Group, most recently leading the Telecom Software Strategies (TSS) Decision Service. In this role, he advised clients on decisions regarding the use of business and operations support systems (BOSS) software and services and assisted C-level operator management in the strategic use of telecom software.

Prior to running the TSS Decision Service, Mewada managed Yankee's Communications Network Infrastructure Decision Service, covering the migration of TDM networks to next-generation overlay and converged networks.
