Tier one Carrier Telstra Awards Large OSS Contract to NetCracker Technology

Waltham, MA – May 17, 2004 – NetCracker Technology, a leading provider of OSS and IT Infrastructure Management solutions, announced today that Telstra, Australia's leading telecommunications and information services company, will be implementing NetCracker OSS for its service delivery needs. The delivery on the contract will commence immediately.

Telstra's Managing Director of Data & Online, Andrew Johnson, said "the NetCracker solution will be implemented to provide one single view and understanding of the client's whole end to end network design, detailing client business requirements and business critical elements. Telstra has purchased NetCracker's Network Inventory, Auto Design & Assign and Order Management applications. The company plans a phased implementation which will kick off with NetCracker's BAM! (Business Analysis & Mapping) process-- a joint NetCracker-Telstra exercise designed to map business requirements and processes and identify any areas which require further discussion.
