NetCracker Presents Mobile Service Provider Case Studies at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

NetCracker Mobile Customers Achieve Faster Service Delivery and Superior Service Quality

BARCELONA — February 7, 2008 — NetCracker Technology announced today that it will present service provider business transformation case studies at Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest communications industry event. Mobile service providers can learn more about NetCracker’s OSS solutions at the Barcelona event (Stand 2B39 from February 11–14, 2008).

At Mobile World Congress, Sanjay Mewada, NetCracker’s Vice President of Strategy, will address the Business Operations Symposium — Managing the New Digital Market: Providing Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace Services (February 11, 2008 in Hall 2, Auditorium A). Sanjay will present case studies on “Business Transformation for the Mobile Service Provider”. He will also discuss “Putting it Into Action — Developing an End-to-End, Customer-Focused Strategy for Value-Added Services”.

In addition, NetCracker will discuss the challenges their customers have overcome in providing next generation mobile services — as well as the increased efficiency and service quality they have achieved using NetCracker’s proven OSS solutions.

“In order to drive revenue growth, mobile service providers must rapidly create and deliver new content-rich service bundles,” said Sanjay Mewada. “NetCracker’s flexible and scalable solutions have helped mobile providers achieve rapid service delivery, closer customer relationships, reduced service delivery costs, and streamlined operations.”

NetCracker Implementations for Mobile Operators

Recent NetCracker implementations for mobile operators include France Telecom Orange, Mobil'nye TeleSistemy OAO (MTS), and Swisscom Broadcast AG.

In December, NetCracker announced that France Telecom group certified it as the Next Generation Inventory standard for the strategic NExT program. As a result, NetCracker has become the approved provider across the entire France Telecom group of 136 operating companies. NetCracker implementations at a number of France Telecom Orange properties have resulted in the faster and more efficient delivery of next generation, content rich mobile services.

Also in December, MTS, the largest mobile operator in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, announced the deployment of a NetCracker solution in Moscow and Central Russia for 3G and other customer services. This will optimize infrastructure and inventory management processes and establish a central information source for the planning, design, and management of the MTS network. The solution covers all elements of the MTS network including the Radio Access Network (RAN), mobile switching network, and transport network.

In January, NetCracker announced the implementation of new Resource and Service Inventory features at Swisscom Broadcast AG. These features allow Swisscom Broadcast to boost provisioning efficiency and service quality on its advanced broadcast infrastructure. This latest implementation includes workflow and reporting capabilities that enable faster, more accurate provisioning and provide the high level of service demanded by the Swiss broadcasting industry.
