Sprint Wins Billing & OSS World 2008 Excellence Award for Best OSS Transformation

NetCracker Partners in Sprint’s OSS Transformation

RESTON, VA and WALTHAM, MA — May 19, 2008 — Sprint Nextel and NetCracker Technology announced today that Sprint is the recipient of Billing & OSS World magazine’s 2008 Excellence Award for Best OSS Transformation. The award — in recognition of Sprint’s Network Resource Management (NRM) project — was a highlight of the 2008 Billing & OSS World conference in Chicago on April 30.

Sprint selected NetCracker as its vendor partner in its multi-phased OSS Transformation project in December 2006. The initial phase of the NRM project automated the deployment of Sprint’s IP-based services. NRM has since expanded to support Nextel Direct Connect® on new Sprint phones as well as Sprint’s 4G wireless broadband deployment. NetCracker’s contribution — and in particular, its Inventory Provisioning and OSS Engine — enables Sprint to rapidly deploy next-generation technologies and services to its customers.
