Company to Showcase Innovative Revenue Management Solutions
NetCracker’s VP of Strategy, Sanjay Mewada, to Speak on “Monetizing the Cloud”

WASHINGTON, DC — June 8, 2010 — NetCracker Technology will be showcasing its innovative revenue management solutions, with a focus on mobile commerce and transactions, at the Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo being held at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington DC from June 9–11, 2010. NetCracker is the leading provider of Telecom Operations and Management Systems (TOMS) to Communications Service Providers worldwide.

In February 2010 the company announced its multi-billion dollar expansion into the TOMS domain, with enhanced offerings in billing and customer management. As the leading provider of TOMS systems, NetCracker leverages NEC Corporation’s vast experience in billing to offer comprehensive solutions in Billing Mediation and Rating & Charging. These solutions will be on display in NetCracker’s booth (#118) at the Billing & OSS World event.

“NetCracker is excited about the incredible innovation it is bringing to the mobile commerce and transaction arena,” said Sanjay Mewada, VP of Strategy for NetCracker. “Service Providers can begin to monetize relationships, transactions, and user-generated content as their customers increasingly use their mobile phones and other communication devices for lifestyle services and mobile commerce. We are very fortunate in being able to draw on NEC’s extensive experience and success to deliver this new level of innovation.”

NetCracker will also be showcasing its Revenue Management offerings, covering the areas of mediation, rating, charging, and billing. NetCracker’s offerings in the Revenue Management domain enable Service Providers to:

  • Rapidly deploy a comprehensive converged revenue management capability for all products and services, from any partner, over any network, between any devices, based on a single, scalable, state-of-the-art architectural platform
  • Significantly lower the cost and time required to monetize new services, which is achievable through the flexible metadata and catalog-driven approach employed across the entire NetCracker TOMS portfolio
  • Enjoy full support for the security, privacy control, reliability, and scalability needed to support the introduction of mobile payments, M2M, and mobile e-commerce offerings
  • Empower Service Providers’ customers with flexible forms of payments, differentiated control of spending (“wallets”), and full just-in-time visibility and interactivity for current account status and usage information

Mr. Mewada will discuss Mobile Commerce in the context of Cloud-Based innovation using SaaS, and will highlight the discussion with examples of two Service Providers on June 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the session entitled “Monetizing the Cloud”.
