Business Analyst (Engineering)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years work experience in telecommunications
- Technical or telecommunications degree
- Good knowledge of telco markets and technologies
- Familiarity with OSS/BSS systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Experienced user of office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Familiarity with UML
- Experience using requirements management tools (knowledge of RequisitePro is a plus)
- Good understanding of basic OOP principles (Java)
- Good understanding of databases and query languages (Oracle, SQL)
- Solid technical English verbal/writing skills
- Ability to travel (occasionally)
Additional Requirements:
- Participation in OSS/BSS implementation/integration projects would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze use cases and requirements
- Improve and support existing solutions from a requirements management perspective
- Conduct market and technology research
- Support implementation teams with expertise in OOB product capabilities
