R&D Project Manager (R&D)
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize work and coordinate activities with Professional
Services staff, Development staff, Implementation teams, and customer
staff;
- Carry out various development projects lasting from 1 week up to
several months through the full cycle;
- Contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending
approaches, identifying resources, and developing the timelines and
plans;
- Owns the project budget, plan and quality;
- Actively participate in the new projects definition and
requirements gathering process;
- Identify and provide solutions to broad, complex/critical work and
customer problems and issues;
- Anticipate changes required in processes, project direction, and
the need to change project plans;
- Plan and organize work for the team;
- Determine, track, and report on priorities and project status;
- Manage engagement scope and implementation team / customer
expectations
- Education:
B.A., B.S. Masters preferred;
- Minimum 5 years experience with application software
implementation experience and expertise in applying technology to meet
customer needs, IT networking or Telecommunications experience
- Detailed experience with project management methodologies and
associated tools;
- Quality Management experience.
Requirements
- Knowledge of data migration and system integration methodologies;
- Knowledge of software development life cycle;
- In-depth experience in business processes and skill in business
analysis techniques;
- Ability to construct/maintain a project budget and manage project
accordingly;
- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills;
- Outstanding time management skills;
- Native or fluent English language;
- Ability to travel.
