The role involves troubleshooting of software issues and technical configuration issues. The candidate will be working in a respected international team with experience and knowledge to provide innovative coding solutions and technical consultancy to major Telecommunications and Utilities businesses in the UK, USA and worldwide.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a graduate who possesses excellent analytical skills and can work well under time pressure. The successful candidate will be someone with a degree in a logical discipline such as natural sciences, computer sciences, mathematics, engineering or similar. Experience or awareness of applications using C, PL/SQL, C++, Java, J2EE or other object oriented systems is a plus. Knowledge of software design and/or the telecommunications industry would also be an advantage. We are looking for a good team player with clear and effective communication skills who understands the importance of customer focus and empathy and who would like to be a part of a technical and sociable team where everyone works together to solve difficult problems.
Experience and Requirements:
Possessing excellent analytical skills
Understanding of the BSS industry and the demands of its customers
Preferably Knowledge of the Rating and Billing Products and their configuration
Background in Billing, Telecommunications, Utilities and/or Customer Care systems
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Customer focus and empathy
Flexible and adaptable under pressure
Confident with the ability to be understood at all levels of an organization
Able to display effective time management
Able to lead staff in technical investigation
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related technical discipline and minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience
