Position Summary:

Quality Assurance Analysts are the lead user-facing technical resources working with customers for the purpose of identifying project and product needs. The position serves as a primary point of contact for the customer in order to prioritize and schedule testing, develop quality assurance standards, and implement processes and methodologies. The Quality Assurance Analyst typically fulfills their role during the requirements gathering, training, and testing phases of a project.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in Test Strategy and Master Test Plan development.
  • Preparing detailed test plan and distributing activities during test cycles.
  • Ensuring QA processes to ensure they are run well and are completed on time.
  • Coordinating with Technical Manager on all issues/problems encountered during testing.
  • Preparing detailed status-reports on test cycles and schedules.
  • Presenting test results for project and finance stakeholders.
  • Creating test summary reports.
  • Creating and delivering all test deliverables (releases delivery, delivery of documents and materials).
  • The ideal candidate will be required to confer with clients to identify and document requirements, design, develop, and implement information systems business solutions, assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware; develop policies, procedures and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches; develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle, conduct reviews to assess qualify assurance practices.
  • Test Automation and Development;
  • Understanding of the eTOM (Enhanced Telecom Operations Map) Framework for Telecommunication OSS & BSS;
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement QA test plans and test cases, tools, and infrastructure
  • Ability to develop quality assurance standards and processes; create and maintain all QA documentation
  • Ability to perform all aspects of verification, including functional, integration, structural, regression, and load and system testing and mentor the team members
  • Ability to develop new testing approaches to accommodate tight schedules and resource constraints

Experience and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of QA experience.
  • Excellent English and Portuguese communication skills including both written and verbal
  • Experience with manual testing, including: functional, integration, smoke, regression, and load testing
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies, standard QA processes, and software release cycles
  • Having the experience of leading medium to large scale projects.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
