Netcracker Technology is looking for a seasoned digital storyteller, PR practitioner and marketing content creator to help play an integral role within the marketing department of one of the world’s fastest growing communications technology companies. Job requirements will include delivering a wide variety of writing, copy editing and content production assignments, as well as working with events and digital marketing specialists to ensure the company’s content distribution and business objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be able to implement a digital strategy that will help increase Netcracker’s brand awareness across paid, earned and owned media channels, ensuring that we are driving awareness with our target audience. This position will play a critical role in writing, editing, and creating content that will drive engagement and corporate awareness. Previous PR and/or agency experience is a plus, as are skills in video editing and production. This team member will also work well and thrive in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment.
This role will be based in our corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and participate in planning of digital communications/PR and branding initiatives
Own parts of the digital communications and PR process, actively managing day-to-day activities in conjunction with PR agency
Manage the press release and news distribution process
Assist in the writing, editing, creation, production and delivery of a wide range of marketing deliverables – magazine articles, blog posts, landing pages, press releases, email newsletters, case studies, presentations, podcast and video scripts, etc.
Edit copy produced by freelancers and others to AP Style and the Netcracker brand’s tone of voice.
Work with multiple departments to ensure our content drives increased awareness and engagement with Netcracker’s target audience.
6-8 years of experience writing, editing, proofreading, fact-checking and rewriting copy, for a variety of business audiences, in a deadline-driven, corporate environment.
Experience managing editorial or marketing content projects from concept to delivery is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.
Must be technology literate, social and digital media savvy and have experience using Microsoft Office, Google Docs and other solutions/tools used for content creation.
Ideal candidate will be able to work well and think clearly under pressure, meet deadlines and align to overall messaging and content goals.
Bachelor’s degree is required
