Position Title: Manager, Business Profitability Management
Position Description: The Manager of Business Profitability Management is the primary liaison between regional General Managers and the Finance organization at Netcracker in the areas of customer contract negotiations and customer profitability management. The role is one of a business partner and trusted advisor to the regional General Manager, applying his/her financial and business acumen to business opportunities and challenges at the customer contract level, providing financial support, advice and counsel to the regional General Manager. The Manager of Business Profitability Management must understand the full life cycle of customer contracts, from origination through to negotiation, close, product and service delivery, and finally to closing out the cash conversion cycle as the financial business partner to the regional General Manager responsible for negotiating and delivering profitable customer engagements. This position reports directly to Finance on a solid-line basis and reports to the regional General Manager on a matrix basis.
Significant experience working directly in a business partnership role with senior Sales Executives
Significant experience with large, complex, multi elements and multi-year contracts Significant experience with contracts where the majority of revenues come from managed services
Significant experience with software and professional services
Significant experience with full life cycle of a contract, from origination to close to upselling opportunities
Significant experience managing implementations and analyzing current contracts to help gain more profitable terms
Experience in both large and small organizations, as well as start-ups
Experience in successfully working cross-functionally to achieve objectives (sales, legal, engineering, finance, procurement)
Ability and experience in dealing successfully with uncertainty
Ability and experience in working under tight deadlines across multiple time zones (global)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Consensus builder, enabler
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and satisfy internal and external requirements with multiple and occasionally conflicting priorities
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Finance or accounting required
Master’s Degree (BS/BA) highly valued
