Job Description

Position Summary (Roles & Responsibilities)

Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to our growing company! This position will be part of our Financial Planning & Analysis team located in Waltham, MA. This role is responsible for performing financial and operational analyses to support functional departments as well as FP&A department activities. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to support numerous projects and processes simultaneously.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze departmental operating expense results and variances in order to ensure accuracy as well as identify any emerging trends.
  • Review and provide reports/analyses to Finance Managers and department leaders.
  • Assist in preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts related to operating expenses. This includes preparing/updating reports, making operating expense changes in the financial system, and expense variance analysis.
  • Prepare Journal Entries and Reports for the monthly close process.
  • Partner with the business to develop financial models on strategic initiatives and provide decision support.
  • Collaborate with global Finance teams to standardize, automate, and maintain comprehensive processes for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Gain detailed understanding of key business areas to drive profit improvement.

Experience & Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial / business / operations analysis.
  • Superior data management and analytical skills working across multiple systems.
  • Strong communication skills to work cross-regionally and cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in complex business environment working with all levels in the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP / financial reporting tools.
  • Experiences in Adaptive Insights a plus.

Education & Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in finance or accounting.
