Position Summary (Roles & Responsibilities)
Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to our growing company! This position will be part of our Financial Planning & Analysis team located in Waltham, MA. This role is responsible for performing financial and operational analyses to support functional departments as well as FP&A department activities. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to support numerous projects and processes simultaneously.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Analyze departmental operating expense results and variances in order to ensure accuracy as well as identify any emerging trends.
Review and provide reports/analyses to Finance Managers and department leaders.
Assist in preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts related to operating expenses. This includes preparing/updating reports, making operating expense changes in the financial system, and expense variance analysis.
Prepare Journal Entries and Reports for the monthly close process.
Partner with the business to develop financial models on strategic initiatives and provide decision support.
Collaborate with global Finance teams to standardize, automate, and maintain comprehensive processes for financial analysis and reporting.
Gain detailed understanding of key business areas to drive profit improvement.
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial / business / operations analysis.
Superior data management and analytical skills working across multiple systems.
Strong communication skills to work cross-regionally and cross-functionally.
Strong organizational, analytical, time management skills.
Demonstrated ability in complex business environment working with all levels in the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP / financial reporting tools.
Experiences in Adaptive Insights a plus.
Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in finance or accounting.
