Netcracker is seeking an experienced professional who will build and maintain standard practices and procedures to ensure that the company’s internal and external events are run on-time, on budget and achieve maximum effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Marketing.
The Events Manager will be responsible for creating and leading infrastructure, processes and engagements to support Netcracker’s Marketing strategy and execution. This role organizes and oversees the successful execution of a variety of internal, external and third-party events including corporate hospitality, thought leadership engagements, customer and industry road shows, domestic and international trade shows, and sales and management meetings.
Plan and execute roadshows, meetings and events following best practice, and department process and procedure for all event components including venue sourcing, production and post-event analysis.
Organize participation of third party events including sponsorship deliverable; speaker engagements, hotel room blocks and staff logistics.
Pre-event traffic generation: fulfillment of invitations and materials to support sales team customer outreach.
Develop excellent relationships with vendors and negotiate competitive pricing and service levels.
Project manage events on-time and within budget.
Formulate project and budget plans liaising with all key stakeholders and relevant departments.
Work closely with the sales organization to meet their need of marketing support for sales and prospect engagements.
Track, analyze and follow up on the ROI/effectiveness of events to determine ROI and prioritize resources.
Manage/coach team members to ensure high levels of execution of their projects.
Provide comprehensive analysis reports and feedback to key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of events management experience. With at least 5 years working in the high-tech industry.
Excellent negotiation, written and interpersonal communication skills.
A creative, inventive outlook with the ability to articulate and implement ideas.
Strong detail orientation & proven record to multitask effectively.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and succeed with minimal supervision.
Superb cross-functional, project management and leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
Exhibit drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
Knowledge of Telecom Industry is a strong plus.
Team player with strong work ethic.
CRM experience required.
International travel up to 35 - 40%.
