Title: Technical Manager
Technical project management of a team of 3-8 developers and administrators responsible for ongoing support and new development in Salesforce.com application domain
Software development projects estimation and planning.
Ensuring that project/team milestones/goals are met and stay within approved budgets.
Making sure the team is providing ongoing support as per agreed upon SLAs
Enforcing the structure and improving agility by gradually implementing DevOps principles
Where necessary, design, code, unit test, system test, performance test, debug, implement, and support the application and integrations when required. Own the development and delivery of features from inception through production implementation
Set the technical standards for the development and integration of the applications within the assigned domain
Ensure development teams follow best practices when architecting, programming or documenting solutions. This includes creating standards and documentation and leveraging processes to ensure all development staff follows the same technical standards and guidelines
Review and provide feedback on technical design
Make decisions on development strategy and approach, and lead solution releases
BA/BS or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in software development.
Experience leading a project team of up to 8 developers and analysts
Minimum 3 years experience in CRM and Sales Enablement/Operations domain
Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.
Experience in developing software components and having a strong background in database design and system architecture.
Experience leading IT operations team – admins and support analysts
Development and operations process organization – code reviews, design reviews, continuous integration, ITIL, devops
Experience using Agile methods to deliver software solutions. Scrum Master certification is a plus
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills
Exceptional customer service/vendor relations
4+ years CRM implementation experience. Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools
Extensive experience with CRM configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls.
Knowledge of mobile applications development and implementation is a plus.
RDBMS expertise – Oracle, MS SQL or similar, SQL, ETL tools
Desired – Salesforce.com Admin or Developer Certifications
Desired - Understanding of Lightning, Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs and standard Salesforce.com components.
Desired - Understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality.
