Netcracker Technology is looking to hire an Active Directory IT Engineer to be based out of our office in downtown Cincinnati. This IT team is part of our global IT department. One of the primary responsibilities for this team is supporting Netcracker's secure environment. This environment leverages a variety of technologies to ensure proper data containment, that the team will execute access requests within. As well as, supporting systems within the environment.
Provide escalated support to Netcracker's secure IT enterprise environment.
Execute access requests in accordance with established security standards
Maintain and update permissions to assets within an Active Directory tree
Create / assign roles and user rights in accordance with Netcracker security standards and customer requirements
Maintain the CMDB for customer and internal environments
Provide documentation and response to internal and external audits
Create internal documentation for processes related to the support and use of the CMDB, secure support environment, and other systems
Routine and scheduled maintenance works
Develop project documentation such as project plan, detailed design, requirements analysis and implementation plans
Provide day-to-day SME level operational support including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, giving suggestions, and executing corrective action
Work side-by-side with server, storage, and network teams to deploy new solutions into the infrastructure
Assist server and domain administrators as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience working within a enterprise size IT environment.
Technical background with Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.
Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory within a enterprise size IT environment
Understanding of virtualization with Microsoft Hyper-V or VMWare ESX.
Experience with Certify Single Sign-On, Citrix, 2FA, and/or Jira a plus
Knowledgeable in IT processes, concepts and practices, particularly around IT security
IT certifications, such as ITIL, MCP, CCNA, CompTIA, CISSP a plus.
Ability to create clearly written documentation of processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related major
