Netcracker Technology is looking to hire a BSS Solution Architect, with experience in the full life-cycle for Telco solutions. This role will be the SME representing Netcracker in front of our customers. This position can also assume involvement into solution delivery activities as well as Pre-Sales.
Role and Responsibilities:
Define end-to-end architecture of the Netcracker customer solution.
Ensure that the selected solution architecture and development approach fit the budget and time constraints.
Work with multiple Account Executives to support opportunity qualification process
Direct presentations to prospective customers and partners using knowledge of industry trends and standards and common industry challenges coupled with NetCracker solution knowledge
Prepare technical part of response to RFPs and RFIs
Develop product demonstrations, including specification, testing, and delivery
Drive the process of delivering high-quality product and architecture presentations and demonstrations
Demonstrate advanced Netcracker product concepts
Assist account teams in ensuring customer satisfaction
Represent NetCracker as a general industry Subject Matter Expert
Travel to customer sites worldwide
5+ years experience working at a Telco or SI vendor with strong technical knowledge on BSS solutions.
Knowledge of major industry standards: TMForum (eTOM, SID, TAM, OSS/J, MTOSI, Open API etc.), 3GPP, MEF, ETSI, ONAP, CNCF etc.
Knowledge of one or more Communications Service Provider market
Knowledge in diverse domains of Channels, CRM, Order Entry/CPQ, Product Catalog, Customer Care, Order Management, Provisioning, Resource Management and Billing/Charging/Mediation/Collections systems/solutions/processes for both consumer and complex B2B products & services
Experience in solution delivery for Telecom/Communications Service Provider in one or more combinations of domain areas like CRM, Billing, Order Fulfillment etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more major local, access, or backbone network communications technologies, including Wireless: GSM/LTE/5G and Wireline: SONET/SDH, IMS/VoIP, DSL/Fiber, MPLS, IP VPN, DWDM, etc.
Fluent English – must have
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
Ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with accounts in complex environments
Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organization levels
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of the global telecommunications marketplace
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
