Netcracker is looking to hire a Senior BSS Business Analysts to join our growing company! In this role, you will be part of our Professional Services Organization that is responsible for leading user-facing resources. This team is at the forefront of working with our customers for the purpose of identifying project and product needs. They typically fulfill their role during the requirements gathering, training, and testing phases of the project.
Role and Responsibilities:
Perform business analysis and solution design with respect to Product Catalog, Quotation, Order Entry and Order Management;
Solicit, clarify and document business requirements and use cases;
Convert business requirements into solutions by leveraging Netcracker OOB system capabilities, best practices and industry standards;
Prepare high level and low level solution design documents;
Obtain customer sign-off for project deliverables including business and functional requirements, use cases, business and system processes as well as solution design documents;
Oversee configuration, customization and testing of the Netcracker system to ensure the desired business outcomes are met;
Demonstrate Netcracker system capabilities as well as end-to-end solutions to internal and external stakeholders;
Participate in training documentation preparation and training delivery
Support Netcracker change management and product management processes; screen, review and assess customer issues and change requests according to customer priorities, and contractual obligations;
Build a strong collaborative working relationship with external stakeholders as a trusted partner.
Frequent (50%) travel will be required to attend on-site customer locations across North America.
Experience & Requirements:
3+ years experience leading and performing requirement analysis and solution design of the BSS domain within the Telecommunications industry. Specifically related to Product Catalog, Quotation, Order Entry and/or Order Management.
3+ years experience with performing presentations in front of 10+ people.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies;
Good understanding of products and services provided by Telco service providers;
Good understanding of TM Forum Frameworx;
Familiarity with system integration technologies and methodologies;
Familiarity with data migration technologies and methodologies;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills;
Strong team player with ability to influence others to move toward a common goal;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Ability to work remotely with flexible work hours;
Ability to travel frequently to customer locations within North America.
Bachelor’s degree required (BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience). Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
