Position Summary:
The Senior Consultant will help leadbusiness process related consulting engagements, analyse business requirements for customers, in pre-sales (scoping) and post-sales engagements, assess gaps between current and future business processes and develops operational readiness plans and maps business processes to proposed technical solution.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Matrix management of delivery engagements including resources from globally distributed teams, coach and train other members of the team.
Analysis and documentation of business process and management of the team members who deliver the same.
Lead functional scoping sessions for Transformation programs, using a business process approach; manage and review of business requirements and processes documentation; lead and contribute in requirement analysis sessions to ensure business requirements are correctly mapped to functional capabilities
Manage assessment of proposed technical solution impact on existing business operational processes, and recommend changes in organizational responsibilities and methods and procedures
Review customer/SI generated end-to-end solution and UAT test scripts and lead impact analysis
Demonstrate thought leadership on communication service provider best practices in operational processes related to either BSS or OSS or both.
Manage business readiness assessment prior to new solution deployment and execute on behalf of the customer selected business deployment tasks
Participate in selected business deployment work streams and generate work stream specific deliverables Success (CSF) in this position is defined by the following activities/behaviors/accomplishments:
Experience and Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 6 years of telecommunications experience with large-scale telecom BSS, OSS, or NMS applications such as Billing, Order Management, Customer Care, Circuit Design/Assign, Provisioning, Network Inventory, Network/Element Management, Outside Plant
Ability to moderate and lead requirement analysis in three or more domains with customers from IT, Network and Business departments.
eTOM knowledge – deep understanding of all domains which are related to BSS/OSS solution
Strong operational practice of BPM methodologies and tools, e.g: Signavio, Aris, etc
Experience with one or more following consulting services
Out of the Box driven Analysis and Design
Benefits Realization Management – Business SLAs and KPIs
Business Deployment including Business Impact Assessment
Proven record of roles showing strong interactions with business (e.g. Customer Care Department) and IT (e.g. IT Architecture) teams on CSP (Communication Service Provider) side
Project Management skillset (ability to manage project teams in Analysis/Design delivery phases)
Ability to build strong client relationship by setting adequate business context
Previous experience in direct stake holder management on business side (C level, Senior Management – Director level)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong strategic and analytical skills
Previous experience in consulting companies (e.g. Accenture, Infosys, CSG, etc) is beneficial
Previous experience as Senior Business Analyst or E2E Architect beneficial
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
