Netcracker is looking to hire a full-time eLearning Manager to join our growing company! In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing a team of eLearning Instructional Designers and administering an LMS to deliver online learning to our global customer base.
The selected candidate will have a deep understanding of what makes great eLearning as well as the tech savvy to keep an LMS in tip-top shape. You’re also not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done while delivering a best-in-class learning experience to customers. You have experience creating content for a global audience and can transform complex source materials into clear, conversational language. You’re comfortable moving between projects and facing the “uncertain” because risk and change motivate you to evolve and innovate.
As an eLearning Manager, you’re able to inspire and mentor others while growing their skill sets. This position is right for you if you’re comfortable with people management and finding new ways to teach Netcracker customers about our products, services, and technology.
This position can sit 100% remote within Eastern Time Zone only.
Manage a global team of eLearning Instructional Designers across time zones and regions.
Estimate and plan eLearning development activities and assignments for your team.
Create and maintain eLearning templates and standards.
Collaborate with SMEs and other contributors to review source materials, storyboards, and courses.
Develop and maintain a library of eLearning courses that teach Netcracker customers about our core products, services, and technology.
Design performance-based, measurable assessments that directly align with learning objectives.
Upload and test courses in the LMS.
Maintain LMS and coordinate technical support with vendors and IT.
Coordinate the delivery of eLearning programs for Netcracker customers.
Facilitate the evaluation of eLearning programs and implement feedback from customers.
Provide coaching and mentoring for your direct reports.
Provide weekly status reports and updates on active and pending eLearning engagements.
Stay up to date with Netcracker products and services as well as current learning theories, industry standards, and technologies.
Participate in Leadership Team meetings and internal initiatives.
Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for any new joiners.
3+ years of experience managing a team of Instructional Designers.
5+ years of experience developing customer-facing eLearning content in a corporate environment.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and spoken English skills.
Active collaborator capable of building strong relationships with teammates and stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge and experience with rapid eLearning and video authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and Vyond.
Deep knowledge and experience with LMS administration and configuration.
Experience developing strategic plans for courses and learning paths that meet the complex needs of learners.
Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones.
Able to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
Able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Able to clarify and simplify complex technical and business concepts for multiple audiences.
Experience developing storyboards and using storytelling techniques that bring technical topics to life.
Experience with flipped classroom and blended learning approaches preferred.
Experience in telecom, network virtualization, or IT preferred.
Ability to edit and publish SCORM packages.
Knowledge of video and multimedia production a plus.
Experience with translation a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Educational Technology, Online Learning, or a related field.
Certificate in Instructional Design, eLearning Development, or Instructional Design and Technology a plus.
