The primary role of this position is to be the primary liaison between the customer and the NetCracker organization including development, implementation, quality assurance, configuration management, training and product management.
Collecting, documenting and analyzing functional requirements (RFP, RFI, etc.) and preparing Telecom OSS solution architecture proposals.
Conducting Telecom OSS solution architecture sessions with a customer and/or 3rd-party software providers, including customer executives and business users.
Decomposition of functional level requirements into detailed system level requirements, being responsible for resolving issues.
Defining functional, non-functional and technical requirements for product modules development and negotiating efforts and timelines with product management and delivery teams.
Assessing level of effort for software/solution implementation and installation.
Designing CI/CD tools and processes implementation in a customer’s on-site environment.
Designing solution prototypes based on high-level requirements and presenting to business users.
Managing customer escalations, related to a solution functionality, quality or/and delivery timelines.
Supporting all required communication with the remote development and test teams to ensure no delay in delivery process.
5+ years working as an OSS solutions architect
15+ of the overall experience in IT
Participation in all phases of OSS solution delivery projects: starting from pre-sales activities and until transition to post-production support; performing solution design, implementation management and acceptance support; scope of solutions must include such functional blocks as service orchestration and activation, resource inventory, network discovery, integrations with external systems.
Preparing of formal responses on customer requests (RPF, RFI, RFQ, etc.) in scope of pre-sales activities, including: gap/fit analysis, responses to compliance matrixes, functional and non-descriptions, design of proposed solution, implementation efforts and costs, hardware sizing, implementation project methodology and plan.
Preparing and conduction presentations or/and demos to a customer or a partner.
Negotiation and joint development of a solution with a selected partner (3rd party vendor and sub-contractor).
Computer software application design development and documentation.
UML experience, including each of the following: use-case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, class diagrams, and component diagrams including Enterprise Architect.
Design and implementation management of solutions SQL and noSQL databases, message brokers and queue managers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Design and implementation management of micro-service based solutions or product components to be deployed in private (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and public clouds (AWS, MS Azure).
Design and implementation management of service activation solutions using following protocols: CLI, NETCONF, SNMP, LDAP, REST, RESTCONF, SOAP, HTTP/S.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with customers at all organizational levels,
Degree in Computer or Information Science or a directly related field
