IT NETWORK MANAGER

Position Summary:

Netcracker Technology is looking for a Network Manager to help build and support the next generation of IT solutions.

As the Network Manager at Netcracker Technology you will be responsible to lead a team of dedicated IT professionals to build, deploy, and manage data networks, voice services, and carrier circuits to meet functional organization requirements. Your team will implement, support, and improve network infrastructure of company's Manager Services Solutions as we as enterprise network infrastructure to meet business needs, whether it’s a new project proposal bid or an existing infrastructure looking to optimize operations.

Active communication at all levels within the team, across IT, and with the business will be crucial to success. The ability to convey information clearly to both technical teams and executive leadership is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highly skilled Network Engineers, who design and support Netcracker network infrastructure as well as network environment of company's solutions.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to network team members and responsible for their professional growth.
• Oversees and/or assists in the installation of equipment, system troubleshooting and ensures highest level of system availability.
• Establishes budgetary requirements for equipment and infrastructure replacement, determines backup components to be maintained in stock. Maintains and activity manages operating budget and all related support contracts.
• Implement innovative and creative ways to scale our Enterprise Network architectures with automation and tooling.
• Developing key metrics to identify efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Provision of daily, weekly, and monthly network reports on network availability and traffic utilization.
• Required to conduct vendor negotiations and contracts/agreements administration, evaluate, and recommend appropriate IT solutions/services to meet user’s requirements.
• Technical Project Management to monitor project scope, project schedule and quality of deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and detailing configuration of deployed solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of working experience with preferably at least 3 years in leading network support, operations, and maintenance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and relevant professional certifications in networking technologies
• Experience in building and managing a team of strong technical people and prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team.
• Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects, including coordinating, and driving issues to resolution autonomously utilizing project management skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B1, B2 level).
• Effective in verbal and written communications

As an advantage

• Cloud infrastructure architecture, design and rollouts, (e.g. VMware, Openstack, Cisco ACI , AWS; Azure; GCP)
• Preferably certified in IT project management, ITIL or other relevant technology methodologies

Education:

• BS/MS in Information Systems or related major
• CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIP R&S holder or equivalent level of knowledge required
