What’s the scope of this role?
To manage and be the technical lead of a group that will support and troubleshoot okd/k8s clusters and cloud-deployed applications. The IT Service Manager will also work with project(s)’ team(s) to identify their needs and break down IT-related tasks.
What will be your responsibilities?
To work on implementation projects with using of cutting-edge technologies of microservices solutions based on private and public clouds (openshift, k8s) with wide implementation of DevOps techniques
To manage a team on project and work as Team Lead and Lead Cloud engineers (individual contributor) on same project in 50/50
To be the Technical Leader and Manage a team of onsite and remote engineers (3-4 engineers).
To work with Netcracker customers on planning and architecture design
To be involved in project planning as IT team representative on RFP preparation, presale phase, scoping sessions, sprint planning meetings, backlog review etc.
To be a scrum master in case project works with Scrum methodology
What experience, education and requirements do you need?
Minimum 8 years of Technical expertise and experience in the following areas:
Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian);
Management of containerized applications (k8s, docker) and databases
Analyze, design and build of solutions with High availability
Manager expertise and experience in:
Team leadership and motivation.
Communication with project management
Team selection and personal development
Planning of resources and sprint backlog
Excellent Verbal Communication
Fluency in English & Portuguese
Ability to conduct in-depth research
Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
Technical design experience
Decision-Making
University Degree in Computer Science or related field
Will be of advantage, any of the following competences:
Waterfall and Agile Methodology – Scrum, Kanban
ITIL methodology
Agile methodology
Continuous Delivery and DevOps processes.
