Turk Telecom has completed a major BSS transformation in just seven months utilizing Netcracker’s next-generation Revenue Management solution as its strategic platform for service enablement and systems consolidation.
Turk Telecom is Turkey’s leading communications provider. This BSS transformation, supporting Turk Telecom’s substantial fixed-line business, has replaced three legacy billing platforms with Netcracker’s next-generation Revenue Management solution. As a result, Turk Telecom has streamlined its BSS architecture, realized operational efficiencies and cost reduction due to the consolidation and improved its ability to support and deliver sophisticated services to its large enterprise customers. Turk Telecom has migrated three major enterprise service lines to the new Netcracker solution, including its Corporate Security Service, enterprise VPN services and point-to-point networking services.
“Netcracker was a clear choice for our business because of its demonstrated track record of successful BSS transformations and its next-generation revenue management quality, flexibility and deep functional capabilities,” said Cengiz Erdoğan, Head of Revenue and Resource Management at Turk Telecom.
As part of this transformation, Netcracker delivered consultancy and solution implementation services regarding hardware deployment; solution architecture; functional specifications and design; and application configuration, including product and pricing capabilities. Netcracker has also provided analysis, testing and support services to Turk Telecom.
“We look forward to helping Turk Telecom drive and expand its fixed-line business, particularly as our solution helps the company roll out sophisticated new services to its large enterprise customers,” said Robin Laliberte, Vice President EMEA at Netcracker. “This successful program provides another example of how Netcracker maintains its superior track record of delivering next-generation BSS transformation and benefits to communications service providers worldwide.”
Türk Telekom, with 176 years of history, is the first integrated telecommunications operator in Turkey. In 2015, Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. adopted a “customer-oriented” and integrated structure in order to respond to the rapidly changing communication and technology needs of customers in the most powerful and accurate way, while maintaining the legal entities of Avea İletişim Hizmetleri A.Ş. and TTNET A.Ş. intact and adhering to the rules and regulations to which they are subject. Having a wide service network and product range in the fields of individual and corporate services, Türk Telekom unified its mobile, internet, phone and TV products and services under the single “Türk Telekom” brand as of January 2016.
