GlobalData Confirms Netcracker's NFV MANO Leadership for Third Consecutive Time

Netcracker continues to prove its dominance in the NFV MANO market with GlobalData's latest assessment.

For the third time in a row, Netcracker has been named the sole market leader for NFV MANO in GlobalData's semi-annual NFV MANO Competitive Landscape Assessment. The report explains that real-time MANO is required to enable the business agility, as well as operational and cost benefits, promised by NFV. Netcracker's leadership in MANO positions it as a catalyst for service providers to monetize, scale and automate NFV-based services and to leverage digital operations enablement capabilities. Going beyond MANO, Netcracker offers world-class hybrid orchestration capabilities that deliver and manage services across physical and virtual domains in addition to public and private cloud environments.

GlobalData's close examination of the NFV MANO market finds:

  • NFV MANO is mandatory.
  • VNFs are queuing up.
  • ETSI standards are developing.
  • Open Source MANO projects are consolidating.
  • DevOps, cloud-native VNFs and containers are coming.

Netcracker's leadership is based on a number of factors, including its standardization and support of multivendor VNF license management. In its report, GlobalData recognizes Netcracker's Ecosystem 2.0 program for going beyond VNF onboarding to drive service commercialization. Ecosystem 2.0 has also enabled Netcracker to onboard more than 140 third-party VNFs as well as provide a potent offline network and service design environment. Meanwhile, the report highlights Netcracker's ability to deploy and fully integrate its Hybrid Operations Management (HOM) solution with multiple carriers' OSS.
