Netcracker Unveils a New Approach to Virtualization at SDN & OpenFlow World Congress
Service providers can leverage SDN and NFV as enablers for new revenue streams, stronger customer relationships and greater marketshare.
Netcracker is taking a hard look at how service providers currently operate and how the introduction of new technologies like software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) will permanently disrupt the status quo. All this week, NEC and Netcracker will be at SDN & OpenFlow World Congress in The Hague to discuss how service providers can become more agile and establish more robust revenue streams through the use of virtualized network services.
Leading up to the show, NEC and Netcracker unveiled the industry's first full-service Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solution designed to help service providers generate new revenue in the B2B and residential markets. NEC/Netcracker NaaS brings together traditional NaaS offerings, value-added services and cloud applications into a single, partner-driven cloud marketplace. This unique solution, based on NEC/Netcracker’s Agile Virtualization Platform and Practice (AVP), gives service providers an end-to-end environment to create, deploy and monetize services quickly.
