Netcracker Technology has signed a multiyear managed services contract with VIVO to develop, implement, and operate a comprehensive BSS solution for VIVO’s mobile service.

Netcracker Technology announced today that it has signed a multi-year managed services contract with VIVO to develop, implement, and operate a comprehensive BSS solution for VIVO’s mobile service.
VIVO is the mobile brand of Telefonica Group in Brazil. Launched in 2003, it is a leading Brazilian telecommunications provider offering mobile and fixed-line voice, television, and Internet broadband services to more than 90 million subscribers throughout the nation.
VIVO will leverage Netcracker’s next-generation technology, proven solution delivery methodology, and extensive managed services expertise as part of its strategy to reduce CapEx and OpEx while increasing revenue. By utilizing Netcracker’s BSS solution and partnering with Netcracker’s CMMI Level 5 Services Organization, VIVO will significantly enhance its ability to launch new operations more rapidly, execute modernization and innovation projects, drive superior customer experience, and strengthen its overall competitive position.
