Netcracker Supports BT’s Digital Service Provider Transformation

Multiyear Partnership will Support BT in Creation of a World-Class Digital Infrastructure.

Netcracker Technology announced today that BT Group (BT), one of the world’s leading communications companies, has extended its partnership with Netcracker for revenue and billing management technology solutions and professional services.

BT is leading the industry by transforming its technology platforms, and the business models associated with them, to create a new kind of digital service provider—a network operator with a unified platform that enables the creation of digital services across its networks, creating a seamless experience for customers. BT reaches more than 10 million residents in the U.K. and more than 900,000 businesses in the U.K. and Ireland.

Netcracker will provide revenue and billing management for BT's consumer, wholesale and global IT organizations, simplifying billing and rating across BT’s lines of business, minimizing upgrade costs and unifying operations. This enables BT to optimize the overall experience of each customer on its network, allowing it to reduce operations costs even while it expands the number and type of digital services on offer. The BT, Netcracker strategic partnership goes beyond the delivery of software and services; it includes a program where BT and Netcracker will invest together in the development of enhancements to BT's core business systems, including a converged, cross-platform revenue management system. Netcracker will deliver that development capability as a strategic partner and will incorporate new advancements into its generally available software systems, making it cost-effective for BT to both customize and upgrade its technology while staying current on Netcracker's product roadmap.

“We look forward to continuing our strategic relationship with Netcracker,” said Greg McCall, Managing Director TV and IT at BT. “Partnerships like this are a key ingredient in BT's drive to ensure our services are delivered in a seamless way, as we create a world-class digital infrastructure for the U.K.”

“Netcracker is excited to help BT move forward into this phase of its development and we will continue to provide the solutions and services it needs to capitalize on new opportunities and streamline operations,” said Yaniv Zilberman, Vice President of Sales and Account Management EMEA at Netcracker. “For BT, Netcracker will be a strategic partner in the revenue management domain that will provide stability, performance and scalability in their technology and operations. It's a big responsibility and Netcracker is confident in its proven ability to help customers of all sizes transform their businesses to become digital service providers.”
