Job Summary
The Junior Accounting Analyst supports the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role assists with daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, invoice processing, and support during financial closing activities. The position works closely with the accounting and finance teams to ensure timely month-end closing, accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and proper documentation of financial transactions. The Junior Accounting Analyst also supports audits, tax documentation, and process improvements within the accounting function.
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP system.
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes when required.
- Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for internal management.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local accounting regulations.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles ( internship or full-time).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills. Fluent English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
- Experience working in multinational environments is a plus.
- Availability to work from the office in Hybrid mode
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
