Netcracker Leads the Communications Industry With the Highest Appraisal for Solution Delivery

Netcracker Technology's Solutions Delivery Organization has Been Appraised at Level 5 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration

Netcracker Technology today announced that its Solutions Delivery organization has been appraised at Level 5 of the CMMI Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), the highest possible rating. This is the second consecutive Level 5 rating Netcracker has achieved. The appraisal was performed by IAL Software Engineering, SA, a neutral third-party organization that is authorized to perform these thorough appraisals on behalf of the CMMI Institute.

"I have engaged in many CMMI appraisals and found that Netcracker's Solutions Delivery organization is among the most efficient groups appraised at what CMMI maturity Level 5 truly represents," said Jose Luis Iparraguirre, Managing Director at IAL Software Engineering.

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. Maturity Level 5 is the highest rating given to an organization. Companies that garner this rating continually improve business processes based on a quantitative understanding of business objectives and performance needs. A Level 5 rating is a rare distinction; fewer than 100 companies worldwide, across all industries, achieved this rating in 2014. Netcracker is the only provider of end-to-end BSS/OSS solutions in the world to have achieved this rating.

Netcracker's Solution Delivery organization has been rated at CMMI Level 5 since 2011; the latest rating results from the re-appraisal process required every three years. Netcracker's achievement is based on its ability to repeat success at a Level 5 rating consistently across its programs and worldwide customer base. This derives from its methodology for measuring and taking action on statistical data relating to key solution development and delivery metrics. This methodology allows Netcracker to predict, manage and mitigate risk for its customers; to deliver projects and programs on-time and within budget consistently; and to provide the highest quality technology solutions.
