Netcracker participated in the award winning PoC: Orchestrated Virtualized Multivendor SD-WAN Services
The MEF proof of concept brings together seven partners under the leadership of NTT to demonstrate the next innovation in SD-WAN: accelerating adoption of orchestrated and assured multi-vendor SD-WAN and value-added services through automated operations and a new digital user experience. Using MEF’s LSO framework, the goal is to unify and automate multiple vendor solutions (from Versa, Silver Peak and NEC) with a single orchestration platform from Netcracker, common uCPE platform and management from ADVA, and a choice of MEF 70 services (validated by Spirent) through an intuitive portal from Netcracker.
Building an Open vRAN Ecosystem
CSPs are moving to an Open vRAN architecture to enable greater flexibility in the RAN network in preparation for 5G services. To accelerate the adoption of this new technology, NEC, Netcracker, RedHat, Dell Technologies and Altiostar have joined forces to define, validate, and successfully build a reusable reference architecture in which vRAN can run on.
