Position Summary:
The targets above are to be reached by the following activities
Direct participation in SDOs (like TMForum, MEF, Camara, 3GPP, O-RAN, etc). This includes:
Participate in Standards development works, in solution analysis, design, development, test and documentation.
Attend online and F2F Community meetings.
Present Netcracker works in industrial conferences and events.
Collaborate with Netcracker internal stakeholders to collect ideas and demands for new contributions to relevant SDOs.
Study/track activities in relevant SDOs for constant monitoring and search for opportunities of:
Influencing B-OSS Standards development activities with Netcracker Strategy
Influencing the development of Netcracker Strategy by the trends in the relevant SDOs
Increasing the sales of Netcracker B/OSS Solutions
Align activities and inform Netcracker stakeholders teams of the status of development in SDOs:
Align the activities in Netcracker product roadmap and architecture with trends for development in SDO’s
Provide consultancy for Netcracker B/OSS Product/Solution/PoC development
Track the industry trends by communicating in SDOs with representatives of Operators/ Competitors, and with Standardization experts
Experience & Requirements:
Knowledge of B/OSS domains and implementation/transformation practice with a focus on TMF ODA, OpenAPI, CaaS, MEF LSO, ETSI NFV architectures
Knowledge and Practical experience in B-OSS design
Business requirements
E2E Business flows
Functional requirements
Information/Data modeling
Integration practice
Understanding of Cloud/Edge, IP services, 4G/5G, fixed networks, and mobile technologies (practical background is beneficial)
Be familiar with application architecture approaches - Monolithic, Microservices, Service-oriented, Event-driven, ‘API/Contract-first’ vs. ‘Code-first’
Proactivity, independence in setting up a problem and finding possible solutions
Knowledge of Software development methodologies and notations:
BPMN, UML notations for Information modeling and design of Business processes
XML, YANG, RESTful notations/guidelines
modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Papyrus are beneficial)
Beneficial Knowledge:
Practical experience with Netcracker’s Product stack (or a similar product suite)
Previous experience of usage standards or engagement with Standardization bodies
Business Drivers, Industry Use Cases/Case studies and business process optimization for BSS
Practical experience in Solution development/implementation
Experience in creating technical design specifications and architectural diagrams for Enterprise applications
Best practices and techniques for transformation of BSS (legacy to cloud-native)
Design of E2E Business process flows.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
