Network Intelligence Meets Business Transformation
Denver recently played host Cable Next-Gen Technologies & Strategies 2026, a premier gathering of the cable and broadband industry, and Netcracker was proud to be at the center of it. The event reinforced why this moment in the industry’s evolution is so consequential.
The Industry Has Moved from Strategy to Execution
One overarching message that cut across every session and conversation was this: the industry is done debating transformation and is now focused on delivering it. Cable operators are holding their technology investments to a higher standard, demanding that network evolution and software platforms translate into measurable business outcomes and demonstrable ROI. This is a conversation Netcracker has been preparing for – our BSS/OSS platforms and cloud-native architecture are purpose-built to help operators quickly move from ambition to execution.
AI Is No Longer a Future State
Agentic AI dominated the agenda, and rightly so. Operators across the board are accelerating their adoption of AI-driven operations – using intelligent automation for network planning, service assurance and dynamic customer engagement. Netcracker's Chief Strategy Officer, Ari Banerjee, brought Netcracker's perspective to these discussions, exploring how AI and real-time data are fundamentally reshaping the operator's ability to deliver proactive, personalized experiences at scale. The message from the floor was clear: the operators who operationalize AI now will define the competitive landscape for the next decade.
New Revenue Streams Require New Operating Models
Beyond connectivity, operators are actively pursuing growth through convergence, experience-led services and advanced monetization strategies – including MVNO and MVNE models that demand greater speed to market and revenue control. Netcracker's participation in sessions on wireless growth strategies and cloud-native service innovation highlighted how our platforms uniquely enable operators to launch new services, manage partner ecosystems and monetize opportunities that didn't exist five years ago.
Speaking Sessions That Mattered
Netcracker executives and our customers T-Mobile, Charter Communications and WOW! participated in panels spanning the full transformation agenda: autonomous and self-healing network architectures, digital twins for network planning and construction, the role of software-defined infrastructure in accelerating service delivery and the strategic frameworks operators need to win in a converged market. Across every session, the through line was consistent – the operators who will lead are those who can connect network intelligence, customer experience and monetization in real time.
An Inspiring Close: Andrew Kurka on Resilience and Mindset
The event's closing keynote belonged to Netcracker-sponsored U.S. Paralympic Alpine skier Andrew Kurka, who delivered a powerful talk on "Mindset, Tools and Resilience in the Face of Change." Andrew, who recently earned a Bronze medal at the 2026 Winter Paralympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, drew remarkable parallels between elite athletic competition and the challenges facing the cable industry today. His message about embracing adversity, leveraging the right tools and pushing through uncertainty resonated deeply with an audience navigating one of the most complex transformation cycles in the industry's history.
We left Denver energized by the conversations, the connections and the shared sense of urgency across the industry. The next phase of cable transformation is happening now, and Netcracker is here to help lead it.
