Enter New Markets with MEC
CSPs are investing in edge cloud and full 5G to diversify into new markets and increase customer value with new multi-access edge computing (MEC) services. However, MEC services are highly complex with stringent latency and performance requirements. MEC services use MEC applications on multiple edge hosts in multiple locations (premise, network edge, regional and core) and may use both CSP and hyperscaler edge cloud platforms.
Netcracker’s 5G Operations Automation incorporates our Edge Orchestration to intelligently place MEC apps in the right edge hosts and ensure the rest of the network can support SLA service requirements. MEC Domain Orchestration selects the optimal edge host and then deploys, configures and automates the lifecycle of MEC applications. E2E MEC Service Orchestration is placed above RAN, MEC, transport and core domain orchestrators and automates the E2E MEC service lifecycle, including assurance and continuous optimization, to prepare the entire network.
