What is the scope of this role?
The Program Director will lead large-scale Business Support Systems (BSS) programs for a telecom client, owning end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams. This role is responsible for strategic alignment with the client, program governance, financial performance, risk management, and successful delivery of complex BSS transformations including CRM, billing, charging, order management, and customer lifecycle platforms.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end BSS transformation programs covering CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Product Catalog, and Customer Lifecycle systems
Own program governance, roadmap, milestones, risks, and dependencies
Act as the primary executive interface with telco CXOs and senior stakeholders
Drive migration from legacy BSS to modern, digital, and cloud-based architectures
Own program financials (P&L, budgets, change requests, margins)
Ensure delivery using Agile / SAFe / hybrid models aligned with telco operating models
Track transformation KPIs such as time-to-market, CX improvement, and revenue impact
Lead and mentor large, cross-functional delivery teams
Experience and Requirements:
15+ years of experience with 5+ years leading large telecom BSS programs
Deep expertise in Telecom BSS architecture and processes
Hands-on experience with BSS platforms (Amdocs, Oracle, Netcracker, Salesforce, etc.)
Proven delivery of legacy-to-modern BSS transformation programs
Strong program governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
Executive-level communication and leadership capabilities
Ability to travel
Education:
A degree in a related field
