Position Summary The Business Solution Architect is accountable for leading the design, architecture, and support delivery of end-to-end telecom solutions aligned with business strategy and digital transformation initiatives. The role bridges business requirements and technical implementation across OSS/BSS ecosystems, including CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Inventory, and Network Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in telecom operations, system integration, and digital BSS/OSS transformation programs.
Role and Responsibilities
Background as a high-end, customer-facing architect with approximately five years of enterprise software implementation experience, specializing in digital transformation.
Experienced in working closely with senior executives to understand long-term business objectives, architecture strategies, and operational challenges.
Combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, guiding initiatives from planning through delivery.
Skilled at building strong customer relationships, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value, and developing actionable plans that drive outcomes.
A proactive problem solver with a consultative mindset—anticipating future challenges, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping customers evolve their architecture and revenue channels while advancing the company’s strategic goals.
Hold the OSS/BSS Architecture Domain Leadership (CRM, Product Catalog, Order Management, Billing & Revenue Management, Charging Systems, Mediation, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment & Assurance, Network Management Systems)
Support digital transformation initiatives (cloud-native BSS, API-led architecture)
Support Delivery & Implementation teams
Guide development and integration teams.
Perform solution reviews and architecture validations.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
Support UAT and production deployments.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience with some of the leading telecom vendors
Exposure to Digital BSS transformation programs
Experience in multi-vendor integration environments
Strong knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS architecture.
Understanding of prepaid/postpaid billing systems.
Experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Trouble-to-Resolve processes.
API-first and Microservices architecture
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Middleware/ESB
Database technologies
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Frameworks & Standards (TM Forum )
TOGAF (preferred)
ITIL knowledge
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence cross-functional multi-country teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
